Findteque

Findteque, a studio for the discovery layer

The way people find businesses online is changing. Most websites aren't ready for it.

We build websites that are structured to be read, understood, and cited by AI search, and that still feel calm and considered to the humans visiting them.

Three things every Findteque build does well.

Considered design

Typography, pacing, and restraint. Not louder, clearer. Websites that look like they were thought about, because they were.

Structured for discovery

Schema.org, semantic HTML, llms.txt, entity coverage, FAQ markup. The plumbing that lets Google and AI search both understand the page.

Made to last

Astro, Tailwind, Sanity, Vercel. A modern stack that is fast on day one and still maintainable in three years.

A productised build, delivered in around four weeks.

Fixed scope, fixed price (£10–12k), no scope creep tax. Five to ten pages, structured for both Google and AI search, ready to grow with you.

Common questions

What does AI-ready actually mean?
It means the site is structured so that AI search engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, can read it, understand what your business does, and cite it accurately in answers. In practice that means proper schema.org markup, semantic HTML, llms.txt, FAQ markup where appropriate, clear entity coverage, and content shaped to be extracted.
How long does a build take?
Around four weeks from the brief call to launch, for the standard five to ten page build. Brief in week one, structure in week two, design and build in weeks two and three, review and launch in week four. Longer if you add branding, copywriting, or photography.
Why Astro and not WordPress?
Astro produces static HTML by default, which is faster, more secure, and easier for both Google and AI crawlers to read. WordPress can be made to work, but it carries plugins, themes, and PHP rendering you do not need for a focused marketing site. For most professional services and SME corporate websites, a static build with Sanity for content editing is the better choice.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. A small monthly retainer covers hosting, security patches, schema updates as standards evolve, and a fixed amount of content or component changes per month. Optional, not required.
